Description: The growing use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) has been embedded in children's toys and robots. According to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the digital rights of all children are the same across the globe; they are to be protected, specifically on Article 16 about the right to privacy and Article 17 on access to information. This current project aims to explore the balance of understanding the learning potential and being aware of the risk of living with advanced technologies (i.e. AI toys) through children's voices about their digital life experience in Spain cand the Netherlands.

Tasks: Together developing concrete plans on the research project contextualisation and data collection. Together developing the protocol of data collection with children in the Dutch context. Helping the data collection with children (mainly focus group discussion) in the Dutch primary school settings.

Requirements (preferably): Experience working with children in primary or secondary education. Background on children and technology interaction. Background related to regulation of digital technology and its direct impact on people (in this case children).
